This certainly has a classic style. The lion motif adds to the strength of the building's appearance.

Notice that when lions are carved on buildings they are almost always represent the male of the species. Do you think that's a conspiracy on the part of the American Republican Party?

Gorgeous detail here, Jose. I really have to go searching here in my 'young' country to find architecture like this. The balcony is gorgeous, but one has to sip one's bubbly standing up!

This beautiful, detailed design was used on older buildings in the U.S. but has been abandoned in favor of the "modern," clean look. This has so much character. Gorgeous shot!
