The statue appears to have a prominent positon.
Looks like there must have been a lot of sailors praying to him.

belle statue avec le bateau
A perfectly sunny white labyrinth to stroll around in and explore endlessly, capped off by that lovely old church dominating the horizon. All under the protective gaze of St. Vincent. Must be a great place to live. It's wonderful how much the town embraces the arts.
Very nice composition here. I like how you can see the church in the background. And everything looks great against a blue sky!
Beautiful statue, love the cathedral in the background! Terrific capture as always. Hope your week is going well, JM!Sylvia
This has to be one of the most beautiful spots to spend some time contemplating life.
A modern statue in the classical tradition; I like your composition.
An award winning photo! Wonderful with the church and architecture, etc!
Bela fotografia de valioso Património...Espectacular....Cumprimentos
So many centuries apart. Superb panorama and very nice statue for the seventies! :-)
A fine composition in white and red, I like the idea that he has a sail ship on his arm...
I too agree about this being a good composition. Not much of an expert obviously but I wouldn't have guessed the statue is rather modern.
Beautiful sculpture and beautiful church!
Very fine statue...and an excellent photograph! Love that blue sky.
Love all that stone work.
That is so beautiful. I think I need to really consider a visit to your beautiful city.
This looks big but maybe it's because he's holding that ship. Grand details here.
All those white buildings have a certain charm.
i envy your blue sky !!!!! Nice pic :)
Great capture. A wonderful saint. MB
Glad to meet you, St. Vincent. What are you holding...a boat?
That's a relatively recent statue, but that would be hard to guess. Sure makes it fit into that beautiful setting. Your compositions, as always, is very fine, JM.
Fantastic angle you shot this at; I love seeing the city laid out behind it.
